We offer shared road bikes for those who want to enjoy cycling alone or with friends. You can choose your favorite bike from a variety of sizes. Please apply at least 3 days prior to the desired date of use after reading the Terms and Conditions.
Hokkaido is a wonderful cycling field. However, because it is so huge, there are many places without stores or public transportation, so it is important to plan in advance. If you wish to rent a bike for a long period of time or if you wish to rent a bike at New Chitose Airport, please contact the club as soon as possible.

<Common for All Rental Bikes>
Equipments
● Pedals: Flat pedals are equipped for all bikes. Please wear normal sneakers and refrain from wearing cycling (binding) shoes.
● Bottle Cage: All bikes are equipped with one 500ml pet bottle cage.
● Safety Devices: All bikes are equipped with a front light, bell, and rear reflector. Please prepare additional items if necessary.
Accessories
All bikes are provided with the following accessories (fees for the spare tubes apply only if they are used) :
flat tire repair kit (tire lever, spare tube, portable pump)
Insurances
● The lessee and the user(s) of the bike are responsible for purchasing personal injury insurance.
● All rental bikes are covered under the “TS Mark Insurance”. We are unable to compensate beyond the covered areas of the TS Mark Insurance.

【At the time of pick-up/ return】
● When renting a road bike from Hana Cycle Club, we ask for a signature from the cycler of the rented bike.
● Please bring an ID (driver’s license/ insurance card/ passport/ etc.) when renting a bike.
● Rental fee will be charged at the time of pick up.
● If there are severe damages to the bike at the time of return, we will request for the repair fees.
【During the rental period】
Please be responsible for the damages, theft, etc. of the rented bike. Especially for those who rent out the bikes over night, please try to keep the bike indoor if possible and make sure to lock the key.
【Accidents/ Incidents Disclaimer】
Hana Cycle Club will not be liable or responsible for any accidents/ incidents during the rented period. Please cycle with considerations for safety.
【Others】
● The lessee and the user(s) of the bike are responsible for purchasing personal injury insurance.
● The lessee and the user(s) of the bike should decide on the appropriate routes, travel time, rest stops, etc. according to their own physical condition, cycling skills, and experience on the road, so as to ensure personal safety. If there is anything abnormal about the bike, the lessee and the user(s) should stop using the bike immediately and notify the Hana Cycle Club’s manager as soon as possible.
